About us

We have been working for nearly thirty years in film and media literacy. Our main activity still consists in training workshop during which we produce educational programs based on the uses of animation and the new technologies (ICT)

We used the animated film as a communication tool in a variety of contexts:

- At school as a mean of conflict resolution.
"Madi, Madi" – an animated film made ​​in clay at APAJI school with Turkish Moroccan mixed classes

- In solidarity projects at European level
"Circus 2000
This project has gathered schools attended by children of the Roma minority, and other Prague's schools, to a group of young people receiving treatment at the Hematology Section of the Motol hospital in Prague. Circus 2000 received several labels for its educational role and has been developed at the Prague Center for Contemporary Arts in the framework of the program of Prague City of Culture 2000 Article from Dnes (in Cezch)

- In non-verbal communication, anticipating the creation internet.
FAXCINATION is a project born with the blockade of Sarajevo. This project used the fax to break the isolation of a group of young Bosnian, and to connect them in a creative project with young people from five continents. The aim of the creation was to produce a series of short animated sequences through the fax. You can follow FAXCINATION on its Twitter account

- In ICT training for adults

ICT Training programs for Vietnamese teachers. Together with the teachers, we have produced animated modules on environmental issues in the larger goal of transforming the schools learning support from paper to interactive contents. Training program organized or the VVOB - The Flemish Association for Development Cooperation and Technical Assistance.

- Between Traditions and New Technologies
Today, Gyora GAL GLUPCZYNSKI - the conceptor of these projects - proposes to visit the cultures that are surrounding us through their tales. A special focus of the ITANU Toon project is to revive forgoten tales through the making of cartoon animation produced during a series of digital animation workshops.Here you can watch "The BRIDGE" adapted from a tale by Nahman of Bretzlav.(1772-1810)
